After reading the article, I learned a lot about how a PSA video works. Not only did I learn what PSA means and what it's for, but I also learned how to make one and how to get peoples attention by using different techniques. I have a feeling that reading this article will definitely make reaching all my future endeavors in this class easier.

This first PSA does a good job of delivering its message in a short amount of time. I liked this PSA because they got celebrity Keanu Reeves to be in it.

I liked this PSA because it was very upbeat and colorful. I also liked that they used evidence and facts to try to get their message across to the audience.
My PSA:
The major point I want to emphasize on in my PSA is the whole situation on Hydraulic Fracturing and how it is a better way to gain energy. The few people that I have talked to and do know what Hydraulic Fracturing is usually only know about all the negatives so I want to show how the positive outweigh the negatives.
For visuals, I want to use some what colorful visuals because I want to convey a positive attitude towards Hydraulic Fracturing. The same goes for the audio.

Capstone Project Statement of Intent
My goal for this project is to create a website that
highlights all the positives of hydraulic fracturing whereas most highlight the
negatives. This is important to me because I believe that everyone should know
about all the different ways hydraulic fracturing could help the economy and
the entire nation itself. People should care about this subject because
hydraulic fracturing is better for the environment than most other techniques
used to acquire oil and natural gases. This project fits into my career goals
because I hope to become a petroleum engineer one day. It gives back to society
by showing them that hydraulic fracturing is not as bad as the media portrays
it to be. It is in many ways better for the environment and could even create
jobs if allowed in certain places.
